An architectural jewel

Moncalisse Winery was conceived as a project in perfect harmony with Monte Calisio. Inspired by the vineyard’s flowing lines, the ancient Coppelle, and the symbolic connection between the two founding sisters, it resonates with the surrounding nature, creating spaces that blend seamlessly into the landscape while reflecting the elegance and poetry of the region. The winery’s architectural structure, when viewed from above, became the basis for the Moncalisse logo: symbolic and circular, it evokes the letter M and the bond between the two sisters, embodying the project’s identity, history, and sense of harmony. Above ground, white predominates, a color that evokes the lightness and perfection of sparkling wine, while the red of the underground spaces references the area’s red porphyry, transforming the winery into a place where architecture, nature, and wine come together.

Time, craftsmanship, and distinction

At Moncalisse, every bottle is the result of a deliberate choice: a small selection of wines, all Riserva, crafted with time, care, and utmost dedication.

Grapes from our estate vineyards, hand-harvested at the peak of their ripeness, carry the freshness and minerality of Monte Calisio. Each stage of vinification follows the traditional method, with fermentations in both stainless steel and barriques, complemented by slow bottle aging on the lees that can last up to 80 months.

The result is sparkling wine of remarkable finesse, complexity, and structure, capable of vividly conveying the soul of the terroir and revealing, with grace and elegance over time, its fullest potential and unique identity.

The Art of Trentodoc

Each label tells the story of its bottle with precision: from the vineyard of origin to its GPS coordinates, from the disgorgement date to the dosage, and, in the case of the Montis Arcentarie, even the altitude and number of bottles produced.

This level of transparency embodies the estate’s artisanal philosophy, with attention to every detail, and its respect for the time required to create unique sparkling wines that are an authentic expression of the terroir and their individual identity.
